The Gen 6 electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft by Wisk Aero runs on a battery pack. To ensure efficient production and maneuverability of this battery pack, a specialized cart is indispensable. As the cart progresses along the assembly line, the battery pack structure is assembled directly onto it. This process allows for unimpeded access to battery modules, coolant lines, and installation points for electrical boxes. The battery pack cart has a capacity of 278 kg (612 lbs) and safeguards the battery pack from damage during the integration of smaller assemblies. Once fully assembled and tested, the battery pack is transferred to the next stage of processing as Finished Goods Inventory (FGI).
